Mozambique Tree Farming at a Glance
A sustainable forestry group rooted in Mozambique, growing opportunity from the ground up.
Mozambique Tree Farming (MTF) is the holding company for two subsidiaries shaping the future of forestry in Mozambique. Through Investimento Florestal de Mozambique (IFM), we manage and expand sustainable eucalyptus plantations, ensuring conservation and long-term resilience. Through Mozambique Fibra (Moz Fibra), we have supported initial log exports to international markets and are laying the foundation for future value-added processing. Together, these businesses fuel economic growth, create jobs, and support local communities.
Our Vision: Growth That Sustains
Balancing economic returns with environmental care and community empowerment.
At MTF, sustainability is more than a principle – it’s our way of doing business. Through IFM, we conserve biodiversity, restore degraded land, and actively pursue certified carbon benefits. Through Moz Fibra, we’ve already opened access to global markets through initial log exports, while preparing for the next stage of value-added processing – from treated poles and veneer to wood chips. Together, these efforts strengthen communities, reduce environmental impact, and ensure Mozambique’s forests contribute to a more resilient global future.

Jobs & Communities
Creating training and employment opportunities that empower communities and strengthen resilience in the Beira corridor of Mozambique.
Global Markets
Through Moz Fibra, we’ve begun opening Mozambique to international buyers, while building towards future processing and manufacturing capacity.
Our Subsidiaries: From Plantations to Global Markets
Two companies, one mission – growing Mozambique’s forestry sector responsibly.
As the holding company, MTF oversees two subsidiaries with complementary roles. IFM manages the plantations and conservation efforts that ensure sustainable supply. Moz Fibra connects that supply to global markets, starting with log exports and building toward value-added processing for long term growth.
IFM – Sustainable Plantations, Long-Term Resilience
Managing and expanding eucalyptus plantations across Mozambique.
IFM is the plantation and conservation arm of Mozambique Tree Farming. We manage and expand sustainable eucalyptus plantations that supply certified timber while restoring degraded land and conserving biodiversity. Beyond forestry, IFM will generate carbon credits, strengthens ecosystems, and supports the communities where we operate through jobs, training, and social upliftment initiatives. Our long-term approach ensures both environmental resilience and dependable supply for Mozambique and international partners.

Moz Fibra – Connecting Mozambique to Global Markets
Log exports today, value-added processing tomorrow.
Moz Fibra is the processing and markets arm of Mozambique Tree Farming. While not yet fully operational, Moz Fibra has already supported timber exports to international markets through supply of nine bulk shipments of pulp wood logs, opening access to global markets. With planned investment in local processing — from treated poles to veneer and wood chips — Moz Fibra is building the foundation for long-term growth, job creation, and increased value for Mozambique’s forestry sector.
