Who We Are
IFM is the plantation arm of Mozambique Tree Farming (MTF), responsible for establishing, managing, and expanding eucalyptus plantations across key regions of Mozambique.
Our work is guided by a long-term vision: to supply renewable timber resources that support both local economies and international markets, while ensuring that forestry development is carried out responsibly and sustainably.
Our Plantations
- Scale: To date, eight thousand hectares of planted eucalyptus in the Beira Corridor, comprising 53% of the total land holding with the balance managed and restored conservation area.
- Purpose: A reliable, renewable source of timber to support Mozambique’s growing forestry industry.
- Sustainability: Plantation planning incorporates riparian zones, biodiversity corridors, and soil management to safeguard natural resources.

Our Impact

Jobs & Communities
IFM creates direct and indirect employment for Mozambican communities, while also delivering training that equips workers with transferable skills.

Sustainable Forestry
By adopting responsible planting and harvesting practices, IFM ensures long-term productivity while protecting the environment.

Foundation for Growth
Our plantations are the cornerstone of MTF’s value chain, supplying raw material that will feed into downstream processing and global exports through Moz Fibra.
