Who We Are
Mozambique Tree Farming (MTF) is a holding company committed to building a sustainable forestry sector in Mozambique. Established to unlock the country’s natural potential, MTF oversees a growing portfolio of initiatives that balance responsible land use, economic opportunity, and long-term environmental stewardship.
Through its subsidiaries, MTF combines large-scale plantation management with the development of downstream processing and global market access. IFM (Investimento Florestal Mozambique) manages eucalyptus plantations across key regions, supplying a reliable and renewable source of timber. Moz Fibra (Mozambique Fibra), the company’s processing and export arm, is being developed to add value locally through treated poles, veneer, and wood-chips for bio-energy and paper making destined for regional and international markets.
At its core, MTF is focused on delivering sustainable growth that benefits investors, supports local communities with jobs and skills, and contributes to global efforts in renewable resources and carbon capture.
